ABOUT US
Green Club is a student-run, project-based extracurricular club at Land O' Lakes High School in Land O' Lakes, FL. We focus on out-of-the-box environmental projects that expand beyond just our school to affect the community at large (see our projects page!).

All initiatives are student-created and student-run, which allows each member to target those issues which are most prevalent in their individual community outside of school (recycling, energy efficiency, etc.). We have two main projects for the 2017-18 school year, both of which stand to benefit from outside support.

Our founders are Camellia Moors (President), who also runs a recycling organization, and Sparsha Muralidhara (Vice President), both of whom are IB Seniors.

This is a photo of what the garden project in front of the culinary center looked like before any work was performed on it.
On the first day of planting in late January, mondo grasses and loquat trees were put in the garden space.
Camellia and Sparsha visited the Rosebud Continuum Science Education Center, a sustainability project center led by Professor TH Culhane of the Patel College at USF.
